Jabrill Peppers misses Browns rookie minicamp, addresses drug rumors

Peppers came into the National Football League under a cloud of suspicion after his urine sample at the combine was too diluted to test but was nonetheless drafted No. 25 overall by the Browns.

Today is the first day of Cleveland Browns rookie mini-camp and a prominent player is not practicing: first-round pick Jabrill Peppers. The former multi-position star at MI said a long-time problem with cramping caused him to drink too much water at the combine in early March, and his diluted sample was a result of over-hydrating.

"I never failed a drug test in my life, never been arrested, so people want to speculate on that for other reasons, which we all know what those reasons are, and so be it", Peppers said.

Earlier in the week, a local radio talk show host-who has since been fired- made accusations that Peppers had been using illegal substances.

"People are going to say whatever they want to say", Peppers said. Peppers played defensive back at MI.

Netanyahu: Abbas lied to President Trump
During their joint statement during the White House welcoming ceremony, Trump called on Abbas to address incitement. Abbas said he believed the Trump administration could play an important role as a mediator.

Per Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal, the agreement "promises players who have yet to sign their contracts that their deals will be honored in the event of injury".

Cody Kessler, 0-8 as a starter previous year, will be with the first team when organized team activities begin on May 23, Jackson said.

Parr said the president of the station called her after the the show and told her "I got a little too personal, and he's not going to be able to allow me on the air anymore". "I was working out for two position groups and I was informed to hydrate". "I don't know why you guys think of me like that but everyone's entitled to their opinion and what you guys think is no skin off of my teeth".

Peppers said he isn't upset he was entered into Stage One of the drug program. "Those are the kind of guys that we put on this team, and I'm excited about that". "I'm just here to learn from these guys and be the best person I can be". "I'm not going to do anything to jeopardize them or myself, just make sure I speak lightly and carry a big stick.". Brock is here and Kevin is, too, but this young man (Kizer) is going to get reps. "Stay clean. Nothing more than that".
