The diesel variant of the Dzire is priced between Rs 6.45 lakh - Rs 9.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
"Dzire was specially created for India, and has been one of the most popular brands ever in the Indian automobile industry", Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Maruti Suzuki, said in a statement.
Maruti Suzuki's Swift Dzire has been the second best selling vehicle after Alto and sold 1.3 million plus since its launch in 2008.
This model, the third generation of Swift DZire, has been developed on Suzuki's HEARTECT platform, which is lighter but more rigid than the previous generation version. However, this is one of the few places where the Dzire loses out.

The sedan would be mainly produced at the company's Manesar facility. But more importantly, it gets dual front airbags and ABS with EBD standard for safety. It can be opted in a total of 4 trim levels - LXi/LDi, VXi/VDi, ZXi/ZDi and ZXi+/ZDi+. The V trims also come with a music system which is a 2-DIN unit that comes with Bluetooth connectivity, USB and AUX inputs.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the all-new 2017 Dzire with a price tag that starts at Rs 5.54 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi and goes up all the way to Rs 9.41 lakh for the top-spec diesel auto. It gets a two-tone colour combination and is filled to the brim with features like engine push start/stop button, rear AC vents and a touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as MirrorLink, however, most of these are available on the top-end variant.
