Microsoft's latest console, the Xbox One X, has been making the headlines for the past couple of days.
Featuring a six teraflop graphics processor running at 1172 Mhz, 12GB of GDDR5 memory and a 2.3 Ghz custom central processing unit, it is significantly more powerful than the Xbox One S and crucially, the PlayStation 4 Pro, with its 4.2 teraflop graphics processing unit and 911 Mhz CPU. The less powerful Xbox One S also supports HDR.
Much like Sony's release of the PS4 Pro, Microsoft's Xbox One X is an upgrade to their most popular game console, the Xbox One. However, only select titles will be ported from the original Xbox which means not everyone can get their game added to console's library.

The Xbox One X costs $499 and is set to be released on November 7. To highlight the games that take advantage of the Xbox One X, Microsoft has released a series of badges to appear on game boxes and digital download pages to highlight what they do on the new system. Microsoft is also treating this console as both a mid-generation update to Xbox One and the first console in a new wave of gaming philosophy on their part. The ones for the Windows 10 are in fact Xbox Play Anywhere games.
