Facebook Live captures shooting on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach

Police say the shooting took place after a large fight broke out on Ocean Boulevard. Seconds later, one of the men in the fight pulled a gun from his trousers and opened fire, according to a Facebook Live video that captured the shooting.

He said a security guard who saw the shooting shot and wounded the gunman.

At least six people were shot and sustained "non-life-threatening injuries", and an armed security guard also shot the gunman, the News and Observer reports. A patrol vehicle was struck by bullets, but no officers were shot or injured. He was treated for the injured at the scene and was not taken to the hospital. "They were having fun and everything and stuff just starts escalating", he said.

"I always wanted a viral video, but I never wanted it to be like this", he said.

Fox 8 reported that the shooter pulled out his weapon, fired and then carjacked a vehicle.

"The Myrtle Beach City Council will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday ... at the Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center", announced city spokesman Mark Kruea in a release Monday.

Sunday night's shooting was the fourth reported shooting incident within the city over a two-day period, according to reports from the police department.

The suspect was detained later that morning, police said.

All four shootings remain under investigation.
