Lil Kim Named Person of Interest in BET Weekend Robbery

Lil’ Kim and her crew are reportedly being eyed by the LAPD after an alleged robbery Sunday at a home Kim was supposed to be renting for the night

Lil' Kim accused of being linked to robbery

Sources say that Kim and her team arrived at the house around 2 a.m. last night, but when they examined the house upon their arrival, Kim did not find the place to her liking. After that, both Kim and the police left.

Here's the deal. She supposedly rented a property to throw a BET Awards event, but after checking it out early Sunday morning, she decided it wasn't right and asked for her money back. Unsatisfied with the accommodations, they turned to leave and "demanded their money back from either the owner or property manager".

Lil' Kim might be in big trouble.

We're told Kim and her crew also left, but at 4 AM, a group of people showed up at the house with ski masks and weapons and got what they were after.

Before the robbers left they slashed the tires of the house owner's vehicle and made off with a hubcap. The cops were called to the scene to de-escalate the situation and help with the refund.

An investigation was soon launched by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The "Crush On You Singer", whose real name is Kimberly Jones, has had a brush with the law in the past.

She served 12 months at the Federal Detention Centre in Philadelphia. During the trial, she claimed that she was not near Damion Butler, a co-manager of hers at the time, during the shooting, but footage from a security camera proved otherwise.

According to police, the owner refused to return the rap star's deposit, resulting in a confrontation.
