There will be British representation on both sides of the net in the Wimbledon mixed doubles final tomorrow after Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis, and Heather Watson and Henri Kontinen both won their semi-final matches last night.

Bopanna and Dabrowski started off well with a narrow win in the first set before Kontinen and Watson took their game up a notch to take the second.

In a match stuck on Centre Court immediately after Murray and Hingis's triumph, Watson and Kontinen treated the crowd to an early-evening nail-biter, eventually triumphing 6-7, 6-4, 7-5.

During his time with the Reds , he has only managed to pick up one piece of silverware, when Liverpool won the 2011/12 League Cup. Lazio are firmly in pole position to sign experienced Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva this summer.

Sania Mirza crashed out of the mixed doubles competition while Rohan Bopanna and his partner entered the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Championships here. Bopanna will be looking to set his record straight as he has never gone past the quarter final in the mixed doubles category.

It wasn't a good day for Indians in the junior events either. While Desai lost in the third round of the girls' singles to top seed Kayla Day of the USA 4-6 4-6; the pair of Mahak Jain and Mihika Yadav lost in the first round of the girls' doubles.
