Fan rushes Britney Spears onstage in Las Vegas

News that 37-year-old Jesse Webb was arrested August 9 for trespassing during Britney Spears' Piece of Me concert in Las Vegas.

The popstar feared the fan might have a gun as she was quickly taken off stage amid booing from the packed crowd at Planet Hollywood on Wesneday night. It was the singer's first performance since taking a break for the summer to tour in Asia.

Webb was not armed with a weapon, police said.

Spears, 35, was seen clutching on to her security guards as Webb was subdued, asking: 'He's got a gun?' before being led off the stage.

"Webb was asked to leave the concert by security prior to him jumping on stage and dancing", the statement from police read. There is no further information regarding this arrest and additional information will have to be obtained through the Clark County Justice Court.
