We've known for some time that Motorola would be releasing a new X-series smartphone sometime this year thanks to a leaked presentation slide.
Now, what's expected to be the latest iteration in the range has leaked.
Showers return for the start of the weekend
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy, hot, and humid with a 30% chance of isolated morning thunderstorms, mainly northeast of Dallas. Should we see any severe storms, damaging wind gusts and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary threat.
Of course, compromises are the name of the game when you're targeting the mid-tier.
The presentation slide said the Moto X4 would have a 5.2-inch full HD display with 3D glass, but that's all the information we could gather from it. In Europe, North America and Latin America, the handset will come with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, while in the Asia Pacific region, the Moto X4 will come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The only unique difference in the specs is the 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. Moto Actions, Moto Display and Moto Voice will all reportedly make their way to the Moto X4 as well, and the phone should be IP68 dust and water resistant. What do you think of the Moto X4 and do you plan to buy one? On the Camera side, it will feature a 16-megapixel front shooter which is designed for ultra low-light selfies and will come with an Adaptive Low Light mode.
The phone comes with a fingerprint scanner below the display.
The smartphone bears a dual-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 12-megapixel sensors with enhanced depth of field for creating a bokeh effect. The camera offers PDAF as well as face detection. The device works with numerous Moto Mods so you can experience more from the phone like easy gaming with the Moto GamePad, extra power with the Moto TurboPower Pack, 360-degree video recording with the 360 Camera Moto Mod, or enjoy high-quality audio listening with the JBL SoundBoost 2.
