A Bakerloo Line train caught fire this morning, sparking panic as people fled Oxford Circus London Underground station, the Sun reported on its website.
One passenger wrote: "Just got evacuated from Oxford Circus as there was a train on fire on, I think, the Bakerloo line, so best to avoid the Bakerloo line".
"Station remains closed. Cause of fire not now being treated as suspicious", British Transport Police said in a tweet.
The train was travelling on the Bakerloo line when smoke began billowing from inside the carriages.
"We treated four patients at the scene for smoke inhalation and have taken two to hospital as a precaution", he said.
When the train pulled in they were evacuated and smoke quickly started filling the station.

LONDON: British firefighters said they had extinguished a small fire on an underground train at Oxford Circus station in the center of London's main shopping district on Friday, saying it had been caused by an electrical fault under the train. "One small van at first then around three others then two fire engines".
'All trains that run to Oxford Circus station are now not stopping at the station.
