Tornado touches down in Fauquier County, Virginia Friday

Lows in the mid 50s. There are also some hazy spots. More showers and storms are in the forecast this afternoon, as a weak area of low pressure off the Florida coast pulls in some moisture.

Activity this afternoon will have some dependency on how much sun we see before the front arrives. Expect some slightly drier weather for Friday evening. While some days will be pretty sticky with temperatures perhaps as high as the mid 80s with 60s dew points, the truly searing heat will remain in the West, for now. On Sunday, the morning high tide will be between 12:27 a.m. and 1 a.m. and in the afternoon it will be between 12:58 p.m. and 1:31 p.m.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59.

Sunday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy, hot, and humid with a 30% chance of isolated morning thunderstorms, mainly northeast of Dallas. So from midnight toward daybreak, showers will become likely. Some storms may produce heavy rain and small hail and/or gusty wind is possible. Should we see any severe storms, damaging wind gusts and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary threat. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s this afternoon with light SE winds. There will be a few showers, though overall it's a drier and quieter day. Low: 78. High: 99.

They replace injured spinner Rangana Herath and pacer Nuwan Pradeep, while batsman Danushka Gunathilaka has been dropped. And to add to that, a visiting team has won just a single Test at this venue when Pakistan came out victorious in 2015.

NEXT WEEK: Monday brings another quiet day in weather. Sunday is dry with partly cloudy skies. Partly sunny, with a high near 83.

Tuesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

High tide on Hilton Head Island will be between six and a half feet and eight feet, and low tide will be between a negative quarter foot and a little over a half foot. Temperatures will move to the low 80s for the weekend into the middle of the coming week.
