Isolated rain chances for an otherwise, quiet and warm weekend

Over the next few days we have higher rain coverage tomorrow into Monday, but a chance for showers every day with more sunshine coming by mid week.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with the chance for a few showers.

We start off with mostly cloudy skies across the Mid-South, with temps warming up to 84°; heat index: 87°.

Monday will be slightly warmer with highs in the 80's and 90's. Winds W at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Highs in the lower 90s.

Tomorrow. Partly sunny. Afternoon showers/storms. Highs in the 80s. A spotty evening storm will be possible and it will remain very humid Saturday night as a cold front slides into the state overnight. A few of these storms could become severe, with large hail and gusty winds being the primary threats. We'll have a blend of sun and passing clouds through the day. Luckily, this storm will be far enough east and out to sea to have much impact on our weather in southern New England. Showers and storms will develop this afternoon and evening. Wind: S 5-15; gusty.
