Expected Tottenham XI v Borussia Dortmund: Winks and Dembele to start in 3-5-1-1

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has urged his side to avoid repeating the mistakes of last term's failed Champions League campaign and make a winning start against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on Wednesday (13 September).

Borussia Dortmund will be without Marc Bartra for their Champions League match against Tottenham. "It's true that in theory Real Madrid [will finish] first, then Dortmund, Tottenham and Apoel [will] compete to be second".

"Now we need experience", he said of their attempt to match the likes of Madrid. "Dortmund are a great team".

Spurs were beaten 2-1 by Monaco at Wembley in their first group game previous year and never recovered, and Pochettino said: "Last season after the first game at home against Monaco, it was hard to change the dynamic".

Australian Voters Begin Receiving Ballots on Same-Sex Marriage Survey
Turnbull, a political moderate who supports marriage equality, is opposed by some in his own Liberal-National governing coalition. People will have until November 07 to cast their vote by mail and results of the voluntary poll are expected on November 15.

Tottenham also have seven league points in their domestic campaign ahead of tomorrow's clash, but are yet to win at their new home of Wembley this campaign having lost to Chelsea and drawn with Burnley. The Premier League is the principal competition for every player that plays in the Premier League.

"It is about time, however, Spurs made Wembley a fortress and what better game to start a sequence of wins than against a very good Bundesliga outfit". Previously we played in the Europa League, for 98 or 99 percent of the players, and for myself too.

Without Alli, Spurs are missing a player who scored 23 goals in all competitions last season, including in the Champions League against CSKA Moscow, and his absence will increase the burden on Kane, who broke his duck for the season with a double at Goodison Park on Saturday. We've got to perform on the big stage.

Mauricio Pochettino's side come into the game off the back of a strong win away at Everton.
