The incident happened about 11 a.m. Saturday as two events took place at the Boise Spectrum, a complex of movie theaters, shops and restaurants.

A gray Porsche leaving a Boise auto show crashed onto a crowded sidewalk, sending at least 11 people to the hospital.

Just after 10:50am, as the show was wrapping up and vehicles were leaving the parking lot, a Porsche that was part of the show crashed into several pedestrians on the sidewalk.

On Saturday, a group of automotive enthusiasts hosted this season's, but final "Cars and Coffee" event. "The driver lost control and ran into the nearby crowd".

Boise police spokeswoman Haley Williams said there were many with serious injuries, but no fatalities had been reported by late yesterday afternoon.

The Porche driver, who was unhurt, is cooperating with investigators. When it's complete authorities will forward it to the Ada County prosecutor for possible charges against the driver.
