Can the Gators escape Saturday with a win at home? It seems like every time the Gators and Vols meet, the second half is electric.

Tennessee is 2-0 after a double-overtime win over Georgia Tech on the road and home victory vs. Indiana State as running back John Kelly dominated both teams with 208 YDS, 4 TD total.

Florida must also stop Kelly and emerging quarterback Quinten Dormady on defense. After three quarters of waiting, fans finally had their first touchdown.

Florida enters play with just one game in the books.

Missed field goals cost the Vols in the end.

But they didn't anticipate they would still have to fight the intense heat with fans and portable air conditioner units. It was "terribly hot", she added, but at least the elevator was working. "I want to thank everybody", Trump said.

The Gators did not have an offensive score in their first two games and didn't get one Saturday until Franks tossed a 5-yard score to Brandon Powell with 5:13 remaining.

After Florida's more than decade long winning streak was broken by Joshua Dobbs, Alvin Kamara, and the Vols a year ago, the Gators responded in a big way. That's because Florida's last game was a drubbing at the expense of the Michigan Wolverines at AT&T Stadium two weekends ago. Especially with how much MI has struggled since. But Tennessee didn't have a lot of defensive help at the back of its secondary, and two defenders didnt' have the angle to deny Cleveland in the middle of the end zone.

Kelly Jr., a top 100 player and U.S. Army All-American in high school, has been integral to Coach Butch Jones' ability to rebuild the program. Tennessee did the same thing to Georgia previous year.

For the Florida Gators, their Week 3 win over Tennessee wasn't pretty, but it was attractive in its own way.
