USC vs. Texas

All week, the talk leading into Texas visiting USC on Saturday night focused on the past.

The stakes were not as high as the last time the two teams met, but the late-game drama was certainly close.

Both of these storied programs have had their recent stumbles. Redshirt sophomore tight end Daniel Imatorbhebhe, who was one of the team's biggest red-zone threats last season, has been shut down indefinitely with a lower-body injury.

And the No. 4 Trojans (2-0) should be wary of Texas' visit to the Coliseum on Saturday night (5:30 p.m., Fox) for a marquee early-season showdown. Even after tailing lat in the fourth quarter, USC wouldn't go away as quarterback Sam Darnold drove the team right back down the field for a game-tying field goal.

The journey to get there proved to be full of surprising twists.

"College football is hard", USC coach Clay Helton said after the game.

Virat Kohli Advisory Leads the Quote Martial
So, we like to prepare the same way and we like to play with the same kind of intensity regardless of who we are playing against. On this, Virat said he would like to try with the all-rounders as most of the teams are doing the same now a days.

One of the marquee matchups of Week 3 of the 2017 college football season is a meeting between the Texas Longhorns and USC Trojans. Although Texas is definitely worse than Stanford, Texas has the ability to score points in bunches and USC could potentially be on upset alert in the team's defense is not up to the challenge.

In the first overtime period, USC scored first on its first play on a 25-yard touchdown from Sam Darnold to Deontay Burnett.

The Horns defense limited the San Jose State to 171 yards of total offense and Holton Hill returned an interception for a touchdown again in the week 2 action. Huntley has been versatile for the Utes, throwing for 527 yards with a 73.5 completion percentage and leading the team with 159 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

A game that was scoreless for the first 27 minutes featured three TDs in the final 2:40 of the half - a sign of things to come at the end of the game.

After dismantling Stanford, USC is one of the hottest teams in the country and wants to stay that way, not only for their national playoff hopes but to keep quarterback Sam Darnold in the Heisman Trophy hunt. The coaches inserted the third-string tailback, Vavae Malepeai, into the game and he lost three yards. Darnold has tossed four picks this year, but he's completing 74.6 percent of his throws and has thrown for 605 yards on 44 completions. The Texas native averages 137.5 yards two games. On fourth-and-10 at the USC 28, he found Armanti Foreman over the middle for 11 yards. Now, the Longhorns are all but out of the national discussion, and Vegas favors the Trojans by more than two touchdowns in Saturday's game.

The Trojans' defense was also missing two other starters against Texas, including linebacker John Houston, who has a stinger in his neck, and defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu, who has a knee sprain.
