After all, the more people in the community that receive the flu vaccination, the healthier everyone is. Each fall the flu returns to our community and brings with it the fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, muscle aches and fatigue that many of us dread. Lakeside area residents may get their vaccination 1-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at the Lakeside Lions Club located at 890 Bowron Road.
