Election Board: Satellite voting centers to remain

In Cuyahoga County where the big draw is the race for Cleveland mayor the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections will be open from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m. now through October 27, with hours expanded heading into the final week of the campaign. "We've got city councils in both Utica and Rome up".

The in-person registration deadline is Friday.

Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by midnight Friday and must be received by residents' local county Board of Elections no later than Wednesday.

Beth Dlug, elections director, said early voting would end at county public library branches - Dupont, Hessen Cassel, Georgetown and Aboite. All absentee ballots must be postmarked no later than November 6 to be counted. You may register to vote at the local board of elections.

Voting will be available in Room 230 of the Rath County Office Building from 9 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24; Thursday, Oct. 26; Tuesday, Oct. 31; and Thursday, Nov. 2. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m Monday.

"Those that capture that older vote, that established vote are going to have the advantage with the early voting and it may tip the balance one way or the other come election day", Sutton said.

If you do it IRL, either mail the form in, or hand it off to a Board of Elections office-you can find the right one for your borough here.
