With Star Wars mania picking up again with the upcoming release of The Last Jedi, Samsung has announced a self-piloting vacuum (I call them all Roombas), in the style of Darth Vader and Stormtroopers. There's no confirmed availability in the Middle East yet, but the Star Wars PowerBots are available to pre-order in the U.S. for US$799.

But the South Korean tech firm has decided that its line up of flagship phones, QLED TVs, and smart fridges needs a vacuum cleaning robot slathered in the iconic Darth Vader and Stormtrooper helmet designs.

Both models have unique sound effects.

Coming fresh off his first Jedi kill while within his menacing mechanical suit, Darth Vader constructed his first Sith blade with its kyber crystal, bleeding the Light Side power with his Dark Side anger and strength. The limited edition bots will go up for pre-sale in the USA from today. It separates dust from dirt and debris to keep the filter cleaner for longer as well as an extra-wide 290mm brush, and sensor technology which allows the vacuum to map out the space of your home and calculate an efficient cleaning path that avoids obstacles.

Foggy morning and cloudy afternoon with cool temperatures
High pressure brings bright sunny skies for a few days, and seasonable highs in the lower and middle 60s. SATURDAY: Partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures continue, with a high temperature of 82 degrees.

Aside from their looks, the vacuum cleaners also have a neat feature that any Star Wars fan would adore. Users can control the device from their smartphones, as well as issue voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

Additionally, the Darth Vader edition comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and a remote control.

Both versions are now available via pre-order and will begin shipping out on November 5.
