If you're already wondering where you can get your buffalo latte fix (you okay hun?), don't get too excited, as the exclusive coffee will only be available at the chain's two outposts in Buffalo.
The Buffalo News reports the city's Tim Hortons franchises were also first to receive new espresso machines to make the lattes, steaming the milk until frothy for a more potent espresso "than the previously tepid mix". It has all the makings of your classic latte, plus "Buffalo sauce flavor" and "a dusting of zesty Buffalo seasoning".
The creative concoction promises to combine a pair of cross-border flavors, mixing the addictive taste of Canada's favorite coffee with America's favorite hot wing topping.
It was apparently created to help promote the launch of the brand's line of espresso drinks, including lattes, americanos and cappucinos, that are being rolled out nationwide in a variety of flavors. "The unlikely pairing of sweet mocha and tangy Buffalo sauce come together to create an unexpectedly delicious sweet and spicy treat we hope our guests will enjoy". Stephen Goldstein, regional president of Tim Hortons U.S., said in a news release.
