This Tuesday, players will be able to delve into a new adventure with the South Park gang, when The Fractured But Whole finally makes its way to store shelves and digital release. Expect to pay a huge price for it, with GameStop listing pre-orders at $89.99 for a digital download and the Steelbook Gold Edition going for $99.99. Danger Deck will be available in December 2017. Otherwise, the season pass can be bought for $30.
Following rampant allegations of sexual assault and sexual harassment, Weinstein was roasted big time in South Park's new "Franchise Prequel" episode, where the kids got back into their old superhero/villain personas. In the first DLC - Danger Deck - players will be tasked with facing an incredibly hard challenge created by Doctor Timothy, although what that challenge is has yet to be announced.
There's also the "Relics of Zaron" DLC, giving special costumes with in-game ability bonuses.
From Dusk till Casa Bonita: New story where players will team up with The Coon and Mysterion to defeat a demonic presence at Casa Bonita.
Bring the Crunch: Another new story, details of which haven't been revealed, featuring a new superhero class. It will be available in 2018. Some of this will be available this year, while others will arrive in 2018. The game itself will be launching on October 17th next week. That DLC is out on day one for season pass owners, and available by October 24 for non-pass buyers.
I've been playing the new South Park game and will have much more to say in our review next week. It's an in-game buddy who provides the player with tips.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will hit store shelves on October 17, 2017, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
Would you board Flight 666 to HEL on Friday the 13th?
From 29 October, the flight will be renamed AY954. "In 11 years, we've flown 21 times the AY666 flight to HEL on Friday the 13th". I'm not a superstitious person but even if that was a free flight to the magical world of Narnia I would have to skip it.
