According to a source, the 47-year-old actor was riding his motorcycle in Los Angeles, California, when he was allegedly cut off by another vehicle, causing him to crash.

Gerard Butler is doing well after the actor was reportedly injured in a motorcycle accident. He suffered from minor cuts and bruises and was immediately brought to a nearby hospital. It was maybe one of the few times that reports were not exaggerated.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Butler was involved in an accident.

The actor also had been hospitalized on December 18, 2011, while filming the biographical drama "Chasing Mavericks" at the San Francisco Bay Area's famed surfing location Mavericks Beach.

Ohio's current limit is midnight, but 75 percent of Ohio's young driver nighttime crashes occur between 9 p.m. and midnight. It's widely believed that cell phones are the most common cause for auto crashes among teens, but AAA says otherwise.

Last week, Gerard candidly opened up about recently being injected with bee venom - prescribed by his nutritionist - to treat a bout of painful inflammation.

Earlier this month, the Geostorm star opened up about his attraction to adventurous activities during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

"My heart's beating and I think it's going to explode, so I said to him, "Dude, get the an ambulance".

"[The accident] made me really appreciate how precious life is because I could have landed any number of ways that would have taken me out", he said.
