The Movie are Academy Award victor Meryl Streep as Donna, Julie Walters as Rosie and Christine Baranski as Tanya.

With most of the first film's cast returning, Mamma Mia fans everywhere should also lay their love on Cher. The sequel reunites the original film's cast, including Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Christine Baranski, Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper.

The Mail can reveal she will appear in two song and dance sequences in the follow up to the 2008 Mamma Mia!

They will be joined by Lily James, with the star of Baby Driver and Cinderella playing a younger version of Streep's character.

The movie has been shooting in Croatia (the original was filmed on the Greek island of Skopelos), but Cher's numbers will be filmed at Shepperton Studios "later this week" in London. Cher's role, and the songs from the Abba back catalogue she'll be singing, remain a secret with one exec quoted as saying "Cher's our secret weapon".
