Back at E3 this year we got a CGI trailer for a new Shin Megami Tensei game for the Switch, but Atlus deliberately did not include the name of the game in the trailer.
It would have been enough just to see the first fleeting glimpses of the game-which looks lovely in Unreal Engine 4-but the real bombshell is the Switch exclusivity for the upcoming project. The long-running demon-summoning series is coming to the Switch. The trailer then cuts to black and the mysterious words, "Shekinah Glory" and "Daath" appear on the screen. It was previously announced for Nintendo Switch with very few details given.
No release date was announced yet. It's coming in early 2018.

Atlus first hinted at Shin Megami Tensei 5 during Nintendo's Switch reveal event in January, but with this teaser in place, fans can safely look forward to another demon-filled journey through the streets of Tokyo sometime in the future.
For now, that's all we know about Shin Megami Tensei V. In June 2016, Shin Megami Tensei collaborated with Nintendo's Fire Emblem series to create Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE for the Wii U.
