SIMON Cowell is unlikely to take part in Saturday's X Factor live shows after being rushed to hospital following an accident at his home.

The paper quotes an unnamed source who reports that "It's been a scary morning".

But now he is thought to still be in hospital undergoing tests.

The X-Factor star, 58, is believed to be going downstairs to get a cup of hot milk because he was having trouble sleeping when he either slipped or fainted.

A British newspaper says entertainment mogul Simon Cowell has been hospitalized after a fall at his London home.

Police also posted a photo of the firearm Ponce allegedly had at the time of her arrest, which drew additional comments. Ponce was charged with two counts for carrying a concealed firearm and a stolen firearm .

Cowell remained in the hospital Friday afternoon but was in stable condition.

"As he was going back up the stairs he fainted and fell backwards", the source explains.

Cowell serves as a judge on the reality competitions The X Factor U.K. and America's Got Talent. He was put into an ambulance on a stretcher "surrounded by anxious aides".

It is unclear if his girlfriend Lauren Silverman and son Eric were at the home at the time.

Cowell is reportedly anxious that he won't be able to make it to the live taping of X Factor UK on Saturday, Oct. 28.
