Smith's daughter, Megan, shared a touching and emotional video on Facebook of the nurse holding her mother's hand and singing her a song.
She posted her condolences on facebook saying "Miss Marg has touched my heart in such an indescribable way, I am so humbled and honored to be a Nurse".
"Your devotion to your patients is past any that I have seen, you genuinely are a light emission and I can't thank you enough for the care and empathy and cherish you shared for my mom".
"If all nurses would take the time and Care for patients like Ms. Olivia I believe we would see a lot more healing!" "My thoughts and prayers are forever with this wonderful family", Neufelder said in a Facebook post. "God bless you Olivia!"
"I recently lost my grandmother and went through a similar experience and I was singing to her as she passed too".
Margaret Smith was in her final days when one of her favorite nurses sang her favorite song with her.
Margaret Smith died on Wednesday.
The iPhone X screen fix cost will set you back
Apple CEO Tim Cook said last week in a BuzzFeed interview that "we'll be working as hard as possible to make as many as possible". But due to the limited supply, it may be that each store will have fewer iPhones than usual for these public spectacles.
Another nurse could be heard in the background telling Smith also not to cry.
"Knowing that she will be dancing in the heavens and singing with the angels helps me find peace during this somber time", Neufelder said.
"Those lyrics right there bring me to tears", the nurse added.
Nuefelder encouraged Smith to join in, and Smith's chin quivered as she sang.
"It was really hard", she said.
Margaret leaves behind a daughter and a son in their early 20's.
A GoFundMe page was started to help the family pay for Smith's medical expenses.
