On Saturday, Russell scored 26 points in an eight-point Nets loss to the Jazz, but of primary concern for Brooklyn is the health of their young star point guard.

A report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski indicated that Russell is expected to miss at least three games with this knee injury, but the Nets' haven't yet offered up an official timetable for his return.

The Nets had battled back from an 18-point third-quarter deficit to within six points of the Jazz when Russell drove and landed awkwardly on his left leg.

Your celebrity friends all came together to insult you in a secret " Mean Tweets " session - talk about birthday punches. If you can recall, West and Kimmel had somewhat of a "feud" back in 2013, with a few harsh tweets sent on West's end.

The Nets acquired Russell in the offseason in what was largely a salary dump by the Los Angeles Lakers. In the season opener, Jeremy Lin tore the patella tendon in his right knee and underwent season-ending surgery.

In his first season with the Nets, Russell has been impressive, leading the team in both scoring and assists, as he's averaged 20.9 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game. He also had another 22-point outing a couple games later while Russell was still struggling.
