Padmavati: It's a war between union government and the mob

A decade ago when she forayed into Bollywood, Deepika Padukone never imagined she would be a Sanjay Leela Bhansali heroine. "I am again reiterating through this video that in our movie there is no such scene between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji, which would hurt the sentiments of anyone". She feels that one can only get into that stage when you reach a different sort of spiritual and the level of creativity and one has to reach a point where they are afraid to take the risks or failure. "We have regressed", she said, commenting on the hullabaloo the movie is causing pre-release. According to legends, after her husband Rawal Ratan Singh was killed in the battle with the invading Emperor, Padmini set herself on fire along with the other women of the royal household to avoid imprisonment and dishonour.Mr Bhansali has repeatedly denied that there was any such indication in the film, which is scheduled to be released on December 1 , As Reported By NDTV. In the movie, Deepika is essaying the role of a Rani Padmini. "I am in touch with great saints of the country and we are planning to organise a committee which will develop "Community Censor Board" to analyse films based on history and religion, and will hold them back if it is found offensive", he said. From sweet and loving Leela in the Tamil film Kaatru Veliyidai and the opinionated Bhoomi in the Sanjay Dutt-starrer Bhoomi to her next character in Padmavati, the actor reveals that she is always on a lookout for characters that motivate her to perform better.
