Rose McGowan turned herself into authorities Tuesday on an arrest warrant for drug possession, Page Six has confirmed.

As we previously reported, the actress allegedly left behind belongings on a United flight on January 20 while arriving at Washington Dulles International Airport. Police say they had attempted to contact McGowan so she can appear in a Loudoun County, Virginia, court.

The actress was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond, the jail told the Daily News.

McGowan has been in the spotlight as of late for coming forward to accuse Harvey Weinstein of raping her in 1997. She said it was an attempt to silence her and was a "load of horseshit". The charge against her, he told Deadline, is a felony. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained the warrant on February 1.

McGowan has made headlines lately for helping lead the charge against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who she alleged sexually assaulted her, along with many other women.

On October 31 she simply tweeted "FACT" in a retweet suggesting that if she had "taken the million dollars in hush money" from Weinstein, the warrant would not have been a news story.

McGowan has been one of the leading voices against sexual harassment in Hollywood. McGowan tweeted earlier today about the warrant for her arrest. She added in her tweet about Affleck: "You lie".
