He said the problems began when she told him to drive in a different direction than his Global Positioning System program instructed him.

Shaun Platt, 26, told the Dallas Morning News that he was also slapped and berated by Dallas County Assistant District Attorney Jody Warner, 32, as he drove her home late Friday after picking her up at Capitol Pub in Old East Dallas.

Following the publication of the incriminating recording by the Dallas Morning News, the District Attorney's Office said that an internal investigation into the incident had been launched and would provide more information in due time.

"I think this might be kidnapping right now, actually", she says.

"Then we'll just wait for the cops". I can tell you that not everything he said was true.

'After careful consideration and a thorough investigation, I have made a decision to terminate Ms. Warner.

"Jesus Christ, you're a f--ing idiot in a stupid f--ing hat". What a joke... Oh my god, you're an idiot.

"You're kidnapping me. You're committing a third-to-first-degree felony".

After the passenger's behavior continued to worsen, Platt finally ended the Uber ride, asked the woman to get out and eventually called the police. She yelled at friends out the window as the auto drove off, and Platt said he tried to initiate small talk but she wasn't being friendly.

A United States prosecutor has been fired after an Uber driver claims she falsely accused him of attacking and kidnapping her. "Then the cop said, 'You good?' and I said 'I guess so.' I should've said, 'No, I'm not good.' It was intimidating".

Iran quake : Death toll soars to more than 450
The headline of a state newspaper read "Iran cries with Kermanshah", referring to the Kurdish-majority province. As many as 3,950 people have been injured, Iran's Tasnim news agency said .

Cpl. DeMarquis Black, a spokesman for the Dallas Police Department, said the agency has contacted the district attorney's office and is investigating the incident.

On the tape you can hear Platt repeatedly asking Warner to please get out of his vehicle. "It was not how I expected my night to go". "I wanted the cops to show up so they could do something about it", Platt said. I want the cops to come and **** you up!

"I cringe whenever I hear or think about the things that I said that night", she said. No criminal charges have been filed.

Adding, 'As public servants, we represent the people of Dallas County and are examples of justice, professionalism, and ethical behavior both inside and outside of the courtroom.

When the DA's office got wind of what happened, they fired Warner.

He reported the incident to Uber, anxious that his passenger would follow through with her threats, and said he only wanted an apology from Warner for "belittling" him and "way worse". I will not waiver on my expectation of the highest integrity for myself or my staff. Thus, he called 911 and hit record, according to the Dallas newspaper.

But she continued to berate the driver. The Dallas County District Attorney's Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Ignoring the driver's demands for her to leave the vehicle, she then told him, "Dude, everything's being reported", adding, "I'm an assistant district attorney so shut the [expletive] up".

"There's two sides to every event", Schulte tweeted. "She kept saying she's an assistant DA and said, 'Who are they gonna believe?"

At one point, she allegedly threatened him that he could be charged with kidnapping. But the law enforcement official simply asked him if he "was good" and when Platt reluctantly confirmed that he was, Warner left with the officer in his auto.
