Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is turning into 'an international media fiasco' as the Chinese government refuses to

But backstage snaps show the Victoria's Secret Angels glamour-free as they get ready for the runway show, sitting in their pink robes before their hair and makeup has been done.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is scheduled to air on CBS on November 28, but people tasked with covering the event are "on the verge of nervous breakdowns", according to The Post. On the production side of things, producers are battling with administrators to be allowed to film outside the Mercerdes-Benz Arena.

Victoria's Secret angel Gigi Hadid will no longer be heading to Shanghai for this year's runway show.

"I'm so bummed I won't be able to make it to China this year", she expressed on Twitter.

"If you're going to China, you want to show that you are in China!" an insider explained to Page Six.

'It's just a nightmare for all the media trying to cover [the show],' an insider told Page Six.

Boeing announces $27bn order from flydubai for 737 MAXs
With the announcement, this will bring the total number of aircraft the airline has on order to 320. More than 50 of the first 175 aircraft to be delivered will be 737 Max 10s, says Boeing.

But Chinese officials don't see it that way, and have even forbidden Victoria's Secret staffers from sending out press releases without the government's approval - a process that seems to be taking a while.

Though Hadid didn't offer a reason for her abrupt decision to skip the show, there is speculation that she was amongst the models experiencing issues obtaining a Chinese visa.

The VS Fashion Show airs Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 10 p.m. on CBS.

Last year's Victoria's Secret show had it's own fair share of drama: in the wake of Kim Kardashian's news-making jewelry mugging and a slew of French terrorist attacks, organizers struggled with heightened security and organizing media background checks for the Parisian show.

The iconic lingerie fashion show is typically in NY but has moved to London and Paris in recent years.
