Paramount Pictures has released a very effective, chilling first trailer for the thriller, A Quiet Place. The family communicates via sign language and they have designated places to walk to ensure they don't make a sound. The first trailer has emerged online and it wants you to stay silent.
In the teaser, all that can be established is that a family living in the woods are suddenly terrorized by a supernatural force. Krasinski re-wrote the script from an earlier draft by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods. The movie, starring John Krasinski of NBC's The Office and his wife, Emily Blunt, is scheduled for a 2018 release. However, things go horribly wrong one day when their youngest accidentally knocks over an oil lamp while playing with his sister, shattering their quiet existence. Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck) and Noah Jupe (Suburbicon) play their kids.
Mariah Carey Cancels Christmas Shows Due to Upper Respiratory Infection
On Sunday Mariah was forced to pull out of the LA premiere of her animated nativity film The Star , blaming an upset stomach. Her tour will now begin on 27 November in New York City, instead of 17 November in Ontario.
"If they can't hear you, they can't hunt you", the film's tagline reads. Michael Bay will produce along with his partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes. Emily Blunt is an always reliable star as well, and is justifiably spotlighted in the teaser trailer, even as Krasinski stars and directs.
A Quiet Place will be creeping into theaters on April 6, 2018.
