John Mayer Hospitalized for Emergency Appendectomy

John Mayer, 40, is now in surgery to remove his appendix at a New Orleans hospital, a rep for the singer tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

John Mayer was rushed to the hospital early Tuesday morning for emergency surgery, according to his band Dead & Company.

According to the band, John Mayer was admitted into the hospital for an emergency appendectomy, forcing them to postpone their December 5 show.
