Danny Masterson Written Out Of Netflix's 'The Ranch' Amid Sexual Assault Claims

Actor Danny Masterson has been written out of the Netflix show "The Ranch" following mounting allegations of rape.

Four women have come forward stating they were assaulted by Masterson in the early 2000s, Officer Drake Madison, a Los Angeles police spokesman, told The Associated Press back in March.

Netflix have released a statement.

Masterson said all the encounters were consensual and denies rape allegations. "Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit", he said.

One of the women who filed a police report against Masterson in 2004 said her case was ignored after dozens of Scientologists disputed her claims.

For nearly two decades, actor Danny Masterson has been under a cloud of suspicion over accusations by four women that he had raped them in the early 2000s.

It's likely that Netflix finally deciding to let Masterson go from The Ranch has something to do with another recent hit of bad publicity the company suffered due to continuing working with the actor. The company agreed that Yeatman's comments were "careless" and don't "represent the views of the company", in large part because he isn't involved in decisions regarding "The Ranch". One of his alleged victims, Chrissie Bixler, dated Masterson for six years and claims he had sex with her while she was unconscious at least twice during their relationship. However, in the current political climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused.

He also made a point of noting that he had no idea she was one of Masterson's accusers, which led to the victim breaking down in tears and saying: 'I hope no one ever says that to your daughter'. "I understand and look forward to clearing my name once and for all".

Netflix took its time in firing Masterson compared to its quick moves to fire Kevin Spacey from "House of Cards" and cancel Louis C.K.'s stand-up special when the accusations against them surfaced. The "That 70's Show" actor is a lifelong member of the church.
