A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Enyia Dimkpa, has come down hard on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over reports that he said that he could defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 general election if he clinches the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), insisting that Buhari would defeat Atiku, mercilessly.
"Let nobody fear that the defection of the former vice president is going to lead to any deluge", the statement on Tuesday quoted him as saying. "The APC is growing in strength on a daily basis", Oyegun said.
Whereas eight commissioners in the Governor Jibrilla Bindow-led APC government dumped the party, in support of Atiku, the Marwa Organisation (TMO), in collaboration with some Adamawa State based NGOs and civil society groups numbering 21, listed reasons why President Buhari's efforts so far must be commended.
"All what I have come to do today is to come and show my face".
