Black Mirror has gained a reputation as a relentless science-fiction series, becoming one of Netflix's flagship genre shows and a source of brutal self-examination that explores how we use and depend on technology. USS Callister is the most eye-catching new episode given its vibrant colour palette and clear Star Trek influence.

"Crocodile", which stars Andrea Riseborough, Andrew Gower and Kiran Sonia Sawar, and is directed by John Hillcoat, is a thriller that follows a woman who fears something from her past will come to light and ruin her life - due to a new device that can access a person's memories.
