Though the woman did not file a police complaint, Ola took note of the complaint she sent to them and suspended the driver, Rajasekhar Reddy, on Wednesday. The reports added that the woman was travelling alone from Indiranagar to BTM Layout when the cab driver parked the auto on an isolated road and allegedly locked the vehicle before groping her.
Following the incident, when the woman tried to create a commotion and banged the windows, the cab driver let her out.
To her dismay, the woman's mobile battery had run out, and she couldn't call for help.
It was only upon reaching the Ejipura signal that she found an autorickshaw. "I have decided not to file a police complaint", she told TOI.
