Just in time for Christmas, another winter holiday event is coming quite soon.
It's that time of year: Overwatch's seasonal event for the holidays, Winter Wonderland, returns December 12 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One, developer Blizzard Entertainment announced today.
A new skin for Hanzo, previously seen in Overwatch comics, will be available alongside new Legendary skins for Junkrat and Roadhog.
"The mode is really fun and different", explains Overwatch Game Director Jeff Kaplan. The familiar 6v6 "Mei's Snowball Offensive" will return (also playable on the Black Forest map), but it will be joined by the brand-new "Mei's Yeti Hunt".
House Passes Resolution Condemning Myanmar Military's Atrocities Against Rohingya
The call for a new approach to prosecutions reflects the dim prospect of charges through the International Criminal Court. Zeid said some about 626,000 Rohingya have fled since August, and many more are continuing to pour into Bangladesh.
We expect to get a glimpse of more skins leading up to the event next week. That game mode became very popular with fans a year ago, so we're sure a lot of them will be happy to see it make a comeback. Kaplan announced a new game mode in the developer update, this one once again featuring Mei. As happened previous year, the winter holiday event, Overwatch Winter Wonderland will also take place this month, bringing a new PvE mode, new skins, and cosmetics for all Overwatch Heroes. It's spooky at first, where the team of Meis is trying to find Winston and what Winston is doing is going around the map, looking for power-ups, which are meat that fuels his Primal Rage. Once that happens, the Yeti will prove a formidable foe for the six Mei players. If he fully charges it up, the Meis will need to do whatever they can to escape.
All in all, Mei's Yeti Hunt sounds like a blast.
Winter Wonderland debuted past year, and this latest outing promises a mix of the familiar and the new.
