20th Century Fox fired Singer allegedly after his repeated absences from the set had caused the studio to temporarily halt production. Only two weeks of production remained when Singer was sacked when he failed to return to the London set of the film, which stars Mr. Robot's Rami Malek as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. Now that Fletcher has agreed to take the reins, production is expected to resume next week, and the film is in no danger of missing its December 2018 release date. That means Bohemian Rhapsody will hit theaters on December 25, 2018, as planned. The two reportedly patched things up but production shut down last Friday due to Singer not being there.
Singer was sacked from the set on Monday, Dec. 4.

Davis said that, if a parent decides to delete their child's account , Facebook will also delete any data from its own servers. The device can then be handed over to your child so he or she can start chatting with the family and friends you approve.
The actor turned Bafta-nominated director was previously set to direct the Mercury film only to leave the project in 2014. Lead star Rami Malek had also complained about Singer's lack of professionalism, according to Variety. He then accused the studio of refusing to grant him leave in order to care for "a gravely ill parent" as well as his own health. "While, at times, we did have creative differences on set, Rami and I successfully put those differences behind us and continued to work on the film together until just prior to Thanksgiving".
The Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, has a new director. Lucy Boynton (Sing Street), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), Mike Myers (Austin Powers) and Joseph Mazzello (Jurassic Park) will co-star.
