Actor Dustin Hoffman attends the 2017 Governors Awards, on November 11 in Hollywood, California.

Rossetter alleged Hoffman repeatedly groped her, and even inserted his fingers inside her vagina, during the Broadway revival of Death Of A Salesman in 1983. During their back and forth, Hoffman said of the Hunter allegations, "First of all, it didn't happen, the way she reported".

"He kept it up and got more and more aggressive". She says he always removed his hand just before the photo was snapped, but on this one occasion he was caught in the act. "I withdrew and got depressed and did not have any good interpersonal relationships with the cast". One time, in front of the whole crew, he pulled her slip over her head; exposing her breasts.

The THR's Editor's note details that Hoffman's representatives declined to comment on the allegations.

Stage manager Tom Kelly told the Hollywood Reporter, "Given my position, it's insulting to say this kind of activity would go on to the extent of sexual violation".

According to The Daily Mail, Rossetter recently wrote a detailed account of the sexual assault and harassment she alleges she suffered at the hands of Hoffman in a guest column for THR.

"I believe what she wrote, yes", Oliver replied. "I was not. Not ever".

Should a Russian athlete win gold it will be the Olympic rather than Russian flag and anthem used at the medal ceremony. The IOC said only those athletes who meet strict conditions will be able to participate.

She said: "Dustin would whisper, 'higher, higher, ' trying to get me to move up his trousers legs toward his genitals". I didn't do it.

Rossetter recalls Hoffman asking her to stop back at his hotel room during the first week or rehearsals, which she thought was odd given that he shared a home with his wife only about a mile away. She said a photo of the incident wound up in Playboy magazine, showing "how fun-loving we serious theater people are", which further humiliated her.

The actress further wrote that the "The Graduate" star has eroded her confidence and dignity. "He robbed me of my job in the experience and he left dirty fingerprints on my soul".

Hoffman defended himself after Anna Graham Hunter alleged he groped her on a film set when she was 17, in 1985.

He said, "Anybody who's guilty of this predatory behavior, men that I know... we don't understand men who want a woman, her tears streaming down her face and she's begging you not to do the thing you're going to do, and most men that I know say, 'What's with that?'"

"How", Rossetter recollects thinking, "could the same man who fought to get me the job, who complimented my work, who essentially launched my career, who gave me the benefit of his wisdom as an actor, how could he also be this sexual power abuser?"

A second woman, Wendy Riss Gatsiounis, then said Hoffman propositioned her inappropriately during a business meeting in 1991.
