While news about Tom Holland's Spider-Man's future either in his own films or in Avengers has been scattershot as of late, news about the animated Spider-Man movie has been ramping up toward the film's first trailer, which is expected to drop later today.

The official Sony Pictures Twitter account teased the first look at the film will debut at Brazil Comic-Con on December 9, which runs at 1:06 minutes and should confirm the animated movie's official title. Liev Schrieber will also provide his voice to the movie in an unknown role, while Chris Miller and Phil Lord both wrote and produced the project under directors Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey. The trailer features Spidey (Mike Morales version) in various spectacular shots that show off the film's unique animation style.

Next week, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi is scheduled to be in New Delhi . The exact cause of the incident is under investigation, the MoD said.

The film's Into the Spider-Verse subtitle is based on the 2014 Spider-Verse Marvel Comics event, which saw the villain Morlun and his family, the Inheritors, trying to kill every Spider character from across the Marvel Multiverse. Spider-man finally lands on a rooftop, and pulls off his mask to reveal an out of breath Miles Morales, who will be voiced by The Get Down's Shameik Moore.

Into the Spider Verse will be in theaters Christmas 2018, and will star Miles Morales in what the promo material is calling a "fresh vision of a different Spider-Man universe".
