Frontman Robert Smith and co. will be joined by a stellar line-up of special guests including the return of Interpol, Goldfrapp, Editors, Ride, Slowdive and The Twilight Sad.

One more point for those legion Cure fans that will not be in London next Summer is to take heart in the tease that this show has specifically been announced as the band's only European show of 2018... According to the Cure's main website, the group will play a 2-hour-long set.

Fanclub and Barclaycard presale tickets go on sale today (12 December) from 9am, while BST, AXS and AEG presale going live from Thursday 14 December at 9am. That, along with the positive response from their 2014 album "Nobody Wants to Be Here and Nobody Wants to Leave", convinced them to stay together as a band. Fresh from the 15th anniversary tour for their widely-acclaimed debut album Turn On The Bright Lights, the band recently confirmed in the NME that they will be releasing new music in 2018.

This concert will mark the band's first show in the United Kingdom since their residency at London's SSE Arena Wembley last winter.
