'Thursday Night Football' Ratings Drop To Season Low

Siemian originally suffered the injury late in the first quarter of the Broncos' win over the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday and never returned.

Osweiler came into the game after starter Trevor Siemian left with reportedly a dislocated left shoulder after a sack in the first quarter.

It might not matter if Osweiler continues to play as well as he did against the reeling Colts (3-11). The Broncos (5-9) won their second in a row after snapping an eight-game slide. But now it appeared it was the Broncos' turn to get on the scoreboard, as Siemian & Co. was able to get all the way inside the Indianapolis 10-yard line.

Emmanuel Sanders caught five passes for 68 yards before leaving with an injured ankle, Demaryius Thomas had five receptions for 69 yards, and Latimer and Heuerman had scoring catches. Hilton said after the Colts' 25-13 loss to Denver. Indianapolis running back Frank Gore was limited to 31 yards on 10 carries.

There were concerns because of Williams' history with spinal injuries, the Star reported.

The Colts also got solid outings from undrafted rookie cornerback Kenny Moore and left guard Jeremy Vujnovich, both of which earned solid game grades from Pro Football Focus.

According to head coach Vance Joseph, the Denver Broncos have yet to decide whether Brock Osweiler or Paxton Lynch will be their starting quarterback for their Week 16 game against the Washington Redskins. The former Texans and Browns quarterback led the Broncos down the field and then rushed in for a long touchdown scamper in the second quarter. I love being a Denver Bronco, so if it was up to me I would love to play. Osweiler, who had completions of 22 and 17 yards on the drive, eventually scored on an 18-yard scramble up the middle. A 30-yard touchdown pass from Osweiler to Devontae Booker, who cleanly hurdled a defender, was wiped out by an offensive holding penalty.
