Starbucks introduced a new espresso option Tuesday in U.S. stores for the first time in more than 40 years.
The company's signature blend is composed of washed and semi-washed coffees from Latin America and Asia Pacific, while the company says its lighter espresso is composed of fully washed coffees from Latin America and East Africa that offers notes of lemon, orange and caramel.
Starbucks teased the new beverage in a mysterious ad campaign on Monday night, and then started a massive social media campaign to drive awareness. Just like drip coffee beans, espresso beans can come in a variety of roasts, and America's largest coffee chain has made a decision to give customers the option of a lighter roast espresso: Starbucks Blonde Espresso. "It's a great way to invite new espresso drinkers to try our beverages, while also offering our seasoned coffee drinkers a way to experience our beverages in a new way".
Sennheiser Introduce Exciting New Headphones At CES 2018
The new CX 6.00BT will be available from January 2018 for 99 EUR/99.95 Dollars (approximately Rs. 6,340). You can control functions like calls and music playing with the three-button remote.
The blonde espresso was made available in Canada past year, and is the latest addition to Starbucks portfolio of lighter roast coffees that includes whole bean and brewed coffees, which launched in 2012.
If your distaste for espresso stems from its dark-roasted flavor, Starbucks is here to let the masses know that espresso has more than one trick up its sleeve.
Now available at participating Starbucks stores in the States, you'll definitely want to get yourself to a coffee counter ASAP to find out if blondes really do have more fun... at least, when it comes to delivering the sweet buzz of caffeine in your morning latte. Now, you can order a Caffe Latte or Flat White or Americano with Starbucks Signature or Starbucks Blonde options.
