Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered Revealed

Assassin's Creed Origins will get a free update alongside its first expansion this month

Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered Sails to PS4 and Xbox One on March 20

The same day will mark the release of The Warden's Oath outfit while the Harlequin and Chop-Chop items are slated to be released sometime this month in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" as well, but a specific date is yet to be revealed. The game was originally released back in 2014 and is also available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

To celebrate the announcement of the remaster, a brand new, albeit short trailer was revealed, which gives us our very first look at some of the enhancements that have been made to the game.

Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered came to light back in late-November after it started popping up on Italian retail sites.

Chris Paul, James Harden among leaders in latest All-Star voting returns
The fan vote makes up 50 percent of the overall vote for the All-Star Game, which is scheduled February 18 in Los Angeles. The Houston Rockets' James Harden has 978,540 votes and the Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook 791,332.

Assassin's Creed: Rogue Remastered features higher-resolution textures and shadows, improved environmental rendering, and new visual effects, according to Ubisoft. The game takes place in North America around the 18th century.

Assassin's Creed is an action-adventure series set in fully realized open worlds, throughout notable times in history such as the Third Crusade, the Golden Age of Pirates and the Industrial Revolution. After a unsafe mission goes tragically wrong, Shay turns his back on the Assassins who attempt to end his life. Offering a chance to see Assassin's Creed from the Templar side of its millennia-long secret war, the game turns a number of series conventions on their heads, while adding plenty of unique twists of its own.

Starring Shay Patrick Cormac, players explore the icy North Atlantic, the bustling streets of New York City and a river valley. Initially launched in 2007, the Assassin's Creed franchise has since transcended video games to offer new and immersive experiences in comic books, mobile games, novels and even movies. I'm certainly looking forward to playing this one when it drops on PS4 and Xbox One on March 20.
