Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Switch Port Announced, Release Date Set

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Brings the Chill to Nintendo Switch in May

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle DLC features Donkey Kong

The 2014 platformer will largely be a port of the Wii U title, though a new mode featuring Funky Kong will be added.

Originally released on the Wii U, the game lets players team up with buddies to master their moves, from Diddy Kong and his jet pack to the fresh addition of Dixie Kong and her spinning ponytail.

This includes Funky Town, a new mode celebrating the return of the fittingly named Funky Kong. You can even enjoy the game in Co-Op using just 2 joy con. Finally, we'll get two new costumes for Link and Zelda based out their outfits from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The character has the ability to perform double jumps, hover, infinite rolls and infinite corkscrews. Part of the way Nintendo achieved this was by porting games from the Wii U over to the Switch, as it did with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Pokken Tournament DX.

Mobile brings Buy One Get One, rebates, leave-Verizon-deals
T-Mobile does not stop with the iPhone though, as there are offers on practically all other flagship smartphones on the market. There's no word as to when the BOGO deal ends, but T-Mobile said it will only be available for a "limited time".

Tropical Freeze is jumping onto Nintendo Switch later this year, the company confirmed earlier today.

Donkey Kong will be exclusive to this brand new adventure, which is planned for release in spring 2018. Did you miss the game the first time around?
