James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt coming to Amalie Arena in Tampa

Two friends and fellow members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are coming to Kansas City this spring. Other classic Taylor songs include "Mexico", "Shower the People", "Carolina in My Mind" and "Sweet Baby James".

Raitt and her band (which for some reason is not given the rank of all-star) will open for James Taylor on May 9. His most recent album, "Before This World", came out in 2015.

On Monday, Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers announced they are teaming up for a June 12 show at Denver's Pepsi Center in what's being called The Summer of Living Dangerously tour.

Kucinich, the former mayor of Cleveland, filed papers in Columbus on Monday to establish a campaign committee. Mary Taylor is expected to announce Cincinnati area business executive Nathan Estruth as her running mate.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 19th at 10am.

Taylor and Raitt will stopping in Colorado as part of their nationwide tour that kicks off May 8 in Jacksonville, Florida and wraps up in Buffalo, New York in July. A cult favorite for 20 years, Raitt broke through to wider audiences with her GRAMMY-winning albums Nick of Time and Luck of the Draw.
