Carlson, however, did reference a video which is known to exist of Miller and Tapper sparring after the segment ended during the commercial break, partial transcripts of which were leaked online Monday.
Tapper, a Philly native, first listened to Miller bash Michael Wolff's "grotesque" new book "Fire and Fury", which paints a disturbing picture of dysfunction inside the Trump administration.
"You should be ashamed of yourself", Miller reportedly said.
One thing that was depressing about this interview was to watch Miller go after Steve Bannon.
At one point, Tapper urged Miller to "settle down, calm down" and accused him of performing to please Trump, whom he referred to as Miller's "one viewer". "I think a clean DACA bill to me is a DACA bill, but we take care of the 800,000 people", Trump said.
The reference angered the president, who last week lashed out at Mr Bannon, saying he had "lost his mind".

The issue has reportedly been resolved and power is expected to be restored to the Central Hall in ~25 minutes. Others had humorous takes, with Intel's account calling it the "the biggest thing to hit CES since 5G".
To this, Miller responded by stating that the president has been talking about trade, immigration and other salient issues to the working class for years. Miller agreed with Trump's description of himself, adding that Trump is a "self-made billionaire who revolutionized reality TV and who has changed the course of..."
"I'm sure he's watching and he's happy that you said that", Tapper responded.
"CNN called around to news organizations and said you were escorted off the set by security", Carlson said.
After a few more exchanges like this, Tapper chose to cut Miller off for good.
"I think I've wasted enough of my viewers' time".
