Alexis Sanchez is not included in Arsenal squad for Bournemouth.

The Chile worldwide appeared to be on the verge of joining Manchester City but Man United have swooped in with an improved offer of £25m, according to reports.

Mkhitaryan has since returned to the fold, but United are aware of Wenger's admiration of the attacking midfielder and his involvement in the Sanchez pursuit could hold the key to United beating City to the forward.

"He's being vague at the moment".

"His situation is not decided one way or the other so I left him at home", said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

The Mirror says Mourinho has told Woodward he has no intention of walking out on a contract that would still have two-and-a-half years to run if United take up a 12-month extension option.
