Cold temperatures are back with light snow coming our way

Bitterly cold wind chills across the D.C. Metro area on Sunday will result in feel-like temperatures in the single digits and teens. East southeast wind 5 to 15 miles per hour becoming north northeast after midnight. East northeast wind 10 to 13 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of light snow after 8 p.m.

Slightly higher temperatures and calmer winds are forecast Monday and into the week.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. Saturday is shaping up as mostly cloudy, with highs in the mid-50s, while Sunday could be partly sunny.

Martin Luther King Day will have sun with a high near 1 degree.
