After the family moved to a new home in Seminole, Oklahoma, they decided they could no longer keep the 6-year-old Great Pyrenees mix for undisclosed reasons, KOCO reports.
Cathleen has since been taken to the Seminole Animal Shelter, where she is now up for adoption.
Her family loved her very much.
A dog walked 20 miles from one town to another twice to get back to her family that had moved. "She wants to be everyone's friend. Friendly", reserve animal control officer Lynzi Thompson told KOCO. She's a love bug. Cathleen will soon be going to Texas to start her new life.

It described Cathleen as a calm dog who's "humble, kind and passive" and "wouldn't hurt a fly". She is health, house broken, doesn't pull on a leash and loves to be around children, ' the animal shelter posted on Facebook.
Cathleen's adoption fee is $25.
'We need to be very careful in her placement or she will end up further away and may try to come back and it would not end well, ' she said. "We are working hard on just the flawless, secure place!"
